This one is particularly soft, a lighter weight, and has a beautiful drape.  The "shiny silk side" can seem slightly metallic in shade particularly under the artificial light. The fabric has a lovely soft silky texture on one side of the fabric (due to silk component), and more of a woolen feel on the other side (due to wool component). Often it can be quite confusing trying to decipher, the origins of such fabrics (in the absence of a brand on the selvedge edge), and the original reason for manufacture.  This particular fabric has a lovely soft, silky finish on one side, and more of a woolen texture on the other, potentially having dual usage, depending which side you wish to use.
